MAKE IT MONDAY - PUPPETS

Today Ava T and Ruby came up with a challenge for us to make a puppet and a stage.

First we WONDERED what we would need to know about how to make puppets.  The success criteria mentioned patterns and symmetry ... so we definitely needed to find out all about that.

We have been focusing this term on being Effective Communicators.  This activity was a great one to practice our skills.  We had to negotiate, take turns, problem solve, work together and cooperate.  These are pretty hard skills for 6 and 7 year olds, but the teachers said we did an outstanding job!

Ava-Rose, Ryla and Holly H worked together today and made two puppets and a stage.  They achieved all of the Success Criteria.

We were so busy making our puppets and stages.  It took us right up until lunchtime!

We made some very creative puppets.  They were all different shapes and sizes!

We learnt about pattern and symmetry too

Look at the Batman puppet the boys made!
Part of our Inquiry process is REFLECT.  We think about how well we worked together and if we met the success criteria.
