ART WORK - LADYBIRDS

Our Ladybird art looks amazing.  

Firstly, we painted the leaves on the background and coloured in the sky. 

Then we glued on our ladybirds.

  

UMBRELLA SPLATTER ART

We did our Umbrella Splatter art today.  First we had to draw ourselves holding an umbrella.  We worked hard to use pattern on our umbrella and make our colours bright.

Then we used the paint brush to flick paint on the paper and a blew paint out of a straw to make it look like it was raining.

 

We are really pleased with the end result.

  

ART - HOT AIR BALLOON

A group of children had a wonderful time creating their hot air balloon art with vivid and dye today. 

First we had to go over our outline with vivid.

 

Then we dyed them.

  

Masterpieces!!

CALENDAR ART

At the very end of last term we completed our Calendar Art for the School Fundraiser.  Mrs Ruawai has kindly put them in folders so that we can show you when you come into school.  Come and see how COMPETENT and CREATIVE we are at Art.

ART - VOLCANO

Today we made some fantastic Volcano art with Mrs Kenyon.  

First we used red and yellow dye to create our background.

 

Then we used paint to make our volcano explode.  

We even put black glitter on them to represent the ash.

  

Our final products are amazing!  

 

CALENDAR ART

We have been buy this week making our art for our calendars.  Here are a few photos of us...

CRITTER ART

We got to finish off our Critter Art today.  

 

A group of us got to select leaves, paint then and then add googly eyes to them to make them look like little critters.

ART - KITE FLYING

Today some of us got to use symmetry in our art.  We had to cut out kites, draw the two lines of symmetry on them and make very cool tails with bows.

  

The hardest part was the cutting out.
