WAITANGI DAY

We have had a fantastic couple of days.  We were not at school yesterday because it was Waitangi Day.  Today Mrs Ruawai read us a story called the Treehut Treaty,  It was about some children who build a treehut together but argue a lot!  Together they come up with a set of rules for how they will play together nicely in the treehut.

Then Mrs Lunn showed us a video all about the Treaty of Waitangi.

We made up our own rules for how were are going to work in our classroom.  The teachers printed out a treaty for us all to sign.
