BEST FRIENDS

Me and my best friend Quinn went to the $2 shop and we got some bubble gum and it was delicious so we ate some more of it and then we went crazy and then we came home and then mum told us off.

SMART MOVES TUESDAY...

Normally we go outside for Smart Moves on a Tuesday, but today it POURED down at PE time.  We came up with a plan to do our Smart Moves in the Hall instead.

Here are a few photos of us practising our skills.  These activities help us cross our midline which ensures both sides or our brain are working.  This has a positive effect on our ability to read and write.

CATCH OF THE DAY - BY QUINN B

One day the people went fishing and then they caught a big whale and the rod snapped.  

The whale went on the boat!

GLASSES AND BOW TIE DAY

We were in full support today for the Glasses & Bow Tie day for Mr Pounui.  

Our class dressed up and donated money to the cause.

At Poetry time we read a poem called "Glasses".  We draw some amazing pictures of Mr Pounui wearing his bow tie and glasses.

 

 

Riverdale made over $1,800 for Mr Pounui and his family.  What an amazing community.

READING - PUPPET PLAY

We love playing with the puppets during Reading time.  

Yesterday Mr West saw us and came and joined in.

COOKING - LOLLYLOG

Cooking was a big hit today.  We made Mr Bron's favourite food.....lolly-log.  It was delicious.

 

  

Adding the eskimo lollies was hard.  We actually wanted to eat them.

 

We even had enough left to share with the teachers.
