PRODUCTION - TE AO WHAKAPAPA

On Tuesday the 3rd of July, the students of Riverdale School presented Te Ao Whakapapa.  This production was written, choreographed and backup vocals were all done by students at our School.  We are incredibly proud of what we achieved over the term.  We hope you enjoyed watching us on stage.  We had a lot of fun making the costumes and props, and preparing our items.

We would like to thank the wonderful Mums and Dads who helped us.  Without them our item wouldn't have been as amazing as it was...

  • Ryla's Dad Lachie, from Latch Construction, not only made our waka, but he donated the wood too!
  • Elliot's Mum Shelley, made Keira's incredibly volcano costumes - the centrepiece of our legend.
  • Brooke's Mum Michelle, and Alec's Mum Rebecca, made the fish costumes.

We are so very grateful for all your help.

Here are some photos we took of the production...

We were so proud to perform in front of 1022 people!
